Welcome to Together Across Miles

We’re Danielle and Zickey—and we’re about to move our life across the country.

On July 31, we’re hitting the road from Connecticut to Arizona with nothing but a budget, a cat named Teddy, and a lot of hope. This site is our way of documenting it all: the packing, the planning, the gas station lunches, the weird roadside motels, and the moments in between.

We’ll be sharing the journey from both sides of the car:

Together, we’re navigating a life that’s completely new—but also completely us.
We’re not influencers with a van. We’re just two people in love, finally together after years apart, starting fresh in a new place with our floofy, opinionated cat in tow.
